Guidance built on transparency, not shortcuts.
We connect people who want to work and live abroad with the licensed professionals and legitimate employer pathways that make that move real — and we tell clients plainly when something is outside our scope.
Why we started Direct Relief
International recruitment and immigration is an industry where trust is everything and, unfortunately, where trust is too often abused. Direct Relief Recruitment & Immigration was founded to be a clear, honest front door for people considering a move to Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or the United States through work — a place that explains what is realistic, what documentation is genuinely required, and which professionals are actually licensed to give immigration advice.
We are a recruitment and guidance company. We help people understand their options, prepare for the process, and connect with employers and licensed immigration professionals. We do not pretend to be a law firm, and we do not shortcut the regulatory system that exists to protect migrant workers.
Making legitimate pathways abroad easier to find and harder to get wrong
We exist to shorten the distance between a qualified worker and a legitimate job or visa pathway abroad — without ever asking clients to bypass the licensed professionals and official processes that protect them.
What guides how we work
01 Transparency first
We explain what we can and cannot do for you, and we are upfront when a step in your case needs a licensed professional rather than our team.
02 Compliance over convenience
We route regulated advice through licensed, authorized partners rather than offering shortcuts that put your application — and your future — at risk.
03 Plain-language guidance
Immigration paperwork is dense enough. Our explanations are written so a first-time applicant can actually follow them.
04 Protection from fraud
We actively educate clients on common immigration scams and how to verify anyone claiming to offer them legal migration advice.
Why we only work through licensed, regulated professionals
In Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States, giving regulated immigration advice or representing someone before an immigration authority is restricted by law to licensed individuals — the CICC in Canada, OMARA in Australia, the IAA in New Zealand, and state-licensed attorneys in the United States. Anyone offering to handle your visa or residency application outside of these frameworks is operating illegally, and clients who use unlicensed operators have little to no recourse if something goes wrong.
That's why Direct Relief Recruitment & Immigration structures every regulated step of a client's journey through licensed, authorized partners, and why we built a dedicated page so you can verify any consultant's status yourself.
